Great response on the part of local residents to their proposals which would, in addition to building a playground and park in the Meadow district, clean up the meadows and rid the area of goldenrod, ragweed, and other bothersome weeds besides eliminating mosquitoes from the entire town.

The group has considered the problem of cleaning up the meadow land from removing rubbish to draining Long Pond, and is convinced the task is far simpler than the herculean problem it is thought by some.
