FOR THE WATCHMAN.

Those persons who have occasion to pass along the North side of Third street, between Market and Shipley streets, are informed, that if they wish to preserve their clothes clean and dry, it is necessary, in making a trip in that part of the town, to keep as near as possible to the curb stone; otherwise they will be in great danger of having their garments spoiled by the water which frequently issues, without any warning to the passenger, from a spout projecting from a yard on the North side of Third street.
