PEOPLES FORUM
Fairmont. W. Va., 3-14-13.
Ed. West Virginian:
I noticed in this morning's Times an article headed as to Mr. Miller and some references as to who was attacking Mr. Miller. and so on, that the man lived close to the new postoffice side. and had been repudiated at the polls at the last election by Union Labor.
If the Times means me. who was the only Union Labor man on the Republican ticket. I want to say he is badly mistaken. I have been at work nightly and sleeping through the day, and have not written any articles relative to Mr. Miller. nor have I used my home or desecrated my office to fight a union man.
If Mr. Miller or the Times either show me where I have mentioned or written a letter detrimental to Mr. Miller I will sit 'em up.
I belong to the best union organization in the United States. "Can they come clean?"
Yours,
A. L. HEFFNER.
