PHILADELPHIA, December 3.

Returns from different Counties of this State of the Election for Representatives in the Federal.

Returns have been received from counties containing about two thirds of the people of Pennsylvania. In this state of information we are happy in being able to assure our friends, that the ratio of the voters for the two tickets is, Federal 58—Anti-federal 19.. The final issue will therefore undoubtedly be greatly in favor of the constitution we presume, at a medium, more than two to one. So that the state of Pennsylvania, always federal in her convention, her councils and her legislatures, appears still more so by the voice of the people at large. Most probably it will be the best accounted by the real merits of the constitution being now better known.

Event Details

Returns received from counties containing about two thirds of Pennsylvania's people show strong support for the Federal ticket over Anti-federal in the election for Representatives. The state, historically federal in its convention, councils, and legislatures, demonstrates even greater support from the people at large, attributed to better knowledge of the constitution's merits.
