UNDER TWO FLAGS
IN NEW VERSION

The version of "Under Two Flags" that will be produced at the Orpheum tonight by the Buhler Company is altogether different from the version produced here a couple of years ago by the Neill Company.

This version clings more closely to the lines of the story. The most vital and exciting scenes having been woven into the warp and woof of a successful play.

A special effort has been made to make tonight's production notable. The company has been carefully cast for the respective parts, new scenery has been painted and splendid light and electrical effects have been arranged to produce satisfactory results.

The romance of "Under Two Flags" is an international one, as its name implies. The scenes are laid in England, France and Algiers. The play deals with France army life.

Mr. Buhler will assume the difficult role of Bertie Cecil, the transplanted British soldier.

Thos. Lowell plays Col. Chateau Roi, a French officer in the African service.

Henry Auerbach will play Rake, the faithful friend of the hero.

Mr. Rupert Drum will appear as Lord Rockingham, an excellent part.

The difficult character of Monsieur Earoni, a banker, will be played by Harry Earle.

The other male parts are in capable hands.

Miss Brenda Fowler will appear in the great role of Cigarette, the vivandiere. This is the best part in the play and gives Miss Fowler every opportunity for a display of her talents and emotional power as an actress.

Miss Lillian Hayward will be seen as Lady Venitia.

Jess Wharton has also a strong part.

Juliette Chandler will appear in a new specialty.

The piece will be played tonight, tomorrow and Wednesday nights. Next bill is "Monte Christo."
