Rumors of changes in the Cabinet are still confidently spoken of in Washington, notwithstanding the denials which have been made. There must be some grounds for such rumors or they would not be so often repeated. Among the on-dits in the Metropolis, is one that required all the energy and influence of the President to prevent two members of the Cabinet from coming into personal collision, in the Palace; it is generally believed that the two members alluded to entertain no good will towards each other, the cause of which is perfectly well understood—Georgetown Columbian.
