EDITORIAL
With this issue of the Mirror we announce the departure of its editor upon a joyful re-entrance to the Great Outside, who, for the past year has secured and guided the co-operation and literary endeavors of its able staff of contributors.
He leaves the Mirror force with its sincerest "God speeds" and best wishes, upon a journey to a life of useful and respected citizenship, of which his mental and technical qualification give assured promise.
To the foregoing we subjoin the announcement of the advent of his successor, the writer hereof, whom the management has selected to continue the Mirror on its progressive course as a clean, bright, and optimistic intra-mural weekly. But as no publication is a success without hearty interest and support of able contributors, so the succeeding incumbent of the editorial desk, solicits and welcomes the cordial co-operation of all the contributors who have helped to make our publication one of merit and worthy of complimentary comment and quotation by our numerous exchanges.
And, too, in advance, the present editor extends his thanks and appreciation to the meritorious writers for our columns, who will continue their literary endeavors and support, which helps to keep the reflections of the Mirror polished and up-to-date.
And, finally, a word of appreciation to the management, by the writer, for the valued privilege extended, to make of his present and future opportunity a step toward "making good" as has his inmate predecessor.
