Dr. H. von Holst Consents.
The Globe stated recently that measures were being taken to induce Dr. H. von Holst, the great German scholar and eminent author, to deliver two lectures before leaving the city. The doctor, who is the guest of Mr. Albert Scheffer, has consented to do so, and the Globe congratulates the citizens upon the rare chance presented them of listening to one of the foremost men of the century. The famous professor will deliver one lecture in English, which he speaks with great purity, thus giving those who do not understand the German language an opportunity of hearing and appreciating him.
