Preachers in charge, 1897: $101,301.62
Increase: $6,259.38

There is a mistake in this last somewhere; the figures are taken from last year's minutes, and The Advocate of the 15th instant, on referring to the general recapitulation, we find for the Preachers in charge, 1897: $121,095.01
And from Advocate, 1898: $107,561.00
Decrease: $13,534.01

There is unreliability in the figures somehow, and ought to be corrected, for we are very sure there is no such increase or decrease in the matter. This may serve to warn all to look closely to the verification of figuring.
