Full Text

Water Company Might Help—Some of the residents of the hill district where the water pressure is quite light, think liberality on the part of the water company in regard to the length of time allowed for sprinkling lawns might tend in that section toward encouraging those residents in their desire to grow good lawns and flowers. They say the people living on the lower lands have largely the advantage of them in the quantity of water used at the same price and at the same time have better land for grass than those on the hills. They also intimate that a deal of encouragement would be given all around if the water rates for hose were shaved a little and thus the good work helped along gloriously.
