It is expected that 2000 students will be enrolled in the public schools of Walla Walla tomorrow. That this number will be increased some 600 during the year is highly probable.
All of the teachers engaged for this year are here with the exception of Miss Ella Frank who is expected from Wayne, Wis., Monday. She will teach the fourth grade of the Lincoln school.
Mr. and Mrs. O. O. Denny, Miss Sophie Frye and Hon. Douglas Carl Conover, are visiting in the city with Mr. and Mrs. Denny's daughter, Mrs. John Thompson.
