Full Text

Extract of a letter from London, June 5.

"We have an account this morning of a very severe engagement with the Swedes and Russians in the road of Revel, where the Swedes made an attack on the Russians at anchor. 'Tis said the Swedes lost three ships, viz. one blown up, and two sunk, and that they took one Russian and sunk two, so that there appears but very little advantage on either side, tho' a very great slaughter on both, as it is reported to be a most hard fought battle. I think, however, the Swedes cannot so well bear the loss as the Russians. But it is more than probable that some of our ships will go that way; or the Russians may be too strong for them."
