FELL DOWN.— The great storm which passed over this city on Monday night caused considerable damage, the greatest of which, so far as we have learned, was sustained by Mr. Charles Lindenschmidt, whose house, on the corner of Leet and Centre Streets, was badly injured.

Mr. Lindenschmidt was remodeling a brick dwelling house, on that corner, so as to make a business house of it, and had the brick work almost completed. The loss was caused, to a great extent, by carelessness. When the dirt was taken out of the cellar it was thrown into the gutter, and when the heavy rain came down the torrent of water was turned into the cellar, which undermined the foundation and caused the front to fall down, even breaking the iron fronts which had been put up. The loss is rather heavy, perhaps as much as $500.

Several cellars were flooded, also, but we heard of no serious damage being incurred on that account.
