High School Notes

The junior class will hold its annual prom in the high school gymnasium this evening. There will be dancing from 8 till 12 to the music of the Colonial Club orchestra. A grand march will be led by the Class Officers, Joseph Antanaitis, president; Mary Fahey, vice-president; Nora Sorokin, secretary; James O'Hare, treasurer.

The East Hartford quintet defeated the 180th Regiment team of Camp Robertson, 40 to 7. A summary of the wrestling and boxing bouts follows:

Wrestling bouts: 155 pounds, Omar Perra won from Herman Erickson; 130 pounds, Joseph Jones won from Francis Fahey; 160 pounds, Russel Carleton won from Raymond Colpitts; 165 pounds, Lenox Mariner won from Felix Bojarski; 170 pounds, Charles Wilson won from Raymond Perra.
