After a seven-week fight with doctors and nurses it is my determined effort to keep at it from my den . . . so far neither of us have won. They all have been wonderful . . . would like to mention their name but for safety's sake, I will refrain I ain't safe yet.

Politics are scattered all over and the Democrats have the Republicans on the run. I hope it adds up to get you voters out on the 6th of November to cast your vote. There has to be something done to get people interested in what is best for the Nation. VOTE PLEASE!

Governor Stanley has already voted and he voted the Democratic ticket all the way . and joins with the best thinking people in the hopes for a Democratic victory this time. I say that advisedly.

There is much sadness in the news as we have lost a great athlete. Babe is dead, a victim of that killer, Cancer. Don't send flowers, send a contribution to help save others from this dreaded disease.

John L. Lewis is back in the news. He has made a secret settlement with the soft coal miners lucky miners.

The high cost of living goes HIGHER So, the Americans will tighten their belts, and think there they will cast their ballot Looks like we are short on prosperity you look
