Fortunately None of Workmen Were in Mine-Destruction Greater Than Two Weeks Ago

Fairmont, W. Va., Nov. 10 -

Two explosions occurred today in Mine No. 7 of the Jamison Coal and Coke Company which was wrecked by an explosion on October 10, since which time the mine has been afire. The explosion today caused no loss of life but one laborer was injured by flying debris.

The explosions occurred close together, just as fifty men who have been employed clearing the mine, were coming out and another shift of fifty were about to enter. Today's explosions are said to have been more serious and to have wrought more destruction to the property than that of last month.
