New Orleans Municipal Election.— The New Orleans municipal election took place on the 6th inst., and resulted in the success of A.D. Crossman, independent whig, for mayor, by a majority of 279, over A. J. Guirot, dem., and E. Montegut. Joseph Genois, independent democrat, was elected Recorder of the 1st Municipality; Joshua Baldwin, whig, of the 2d; and P. Seuzoneau, democrat, Recorder of the 3d Municipality. The democrats carried a majority of the Aldermen in the 2d and 3d Municipalities, and the whigs a majority in the 1st.
