Oct. 25. We learn from Madrid, that on the 10th of August died at Malaga, one Beatrice Sanchez Jurado, aged 118 years, five months, and eleven days. She bore eight children to her husband, of which only the youngest survives, who is now Ninety, and is as stout as if he were but fifty. By this son and her other children he had thirty six grand children, and from them sixty three great-grand children, and from these last one hundred and three more: And as some of these great-great grand children are above five and twenty, she might have seen a fifth generation, had they married, and had children.

She never was ill till about a year before her death, that she had a cold which was removed by twice bleeding. From that time to her last moment she enjoyed uninterrupted health, had the use of all her senses, and went about her usual affairs. Every day she fetched from some distance a pitcher of water, which weighed two arrobas, and carried upon her arm as much wood as she consumed in a whole week.
