She never was ill till about a year before her death, that she had a cold which was removed by twice bleeding. From that time to her last moment she enjoyed uninterrupted health, had the use of all her senses, and went about her usual affairs. Every day she fetched from some distance a pitcher of water, which weighed two arrobas, and carried upon her arm as much wood as she consumed in a whole week.
