LUCE WAS LANDED.
Was Wanted in Ashley Where He Had Jumped His Bail Bond.

Ashley Tribune: At ten o'clock, Friday afternoon, the grand jury returned an indictment for grand larceny against James A. Luce. The bailiff was unable to find the accused, and when court convened in the afternoon the cash bail of $300 which Mr. Luce had furnished when he was arrested last December was forfeited. A bench warrant was issued and messages sent to officers in neighboring towns requesting the apprehension of Mr. Luce. Late in the evening the officers were notified that Sheriff Charles Mix, of McPherson county had placed Luce under arrest at Eureka. Saturday morning Mix delivered his prisoner to the authorities here. Luce furnished bail, which was fixed at $1000. The case goes over until the fall term of the district court.
