PIRACY.

We learn from Captain Mariner, of the sloop Mary, reported that he left at Zebarra a Danish galliot called the Juno, of Bremen, Albert Klevenhusen, master, loaded with dry goods, from Bremen, bound to Port au Prince--she had been captured off the Platform, by a barge manned with nine negroes, who after taking possession of her put two of her crew into their leaky barge under the expectation that it would founder: but unfortunately for the pirates, they got to Baracoa in safety and had a small armed schr dispatched after her, which overhauled and captured her off Port Padre, about 10 leagues to leeward, and brought her into Zebarra. All but three of the pirates made their escape. When capt. M. sailed, no tidings had been received of the two Danes who were retained on board the galliot; it was supposed, however, that they had been murdered, as the negroes compelled them to jump into the boat when the schooner fired on them.
