Art Exhibition Opens Tonight At Morris Brown

The "Student's Scenery Show," which represents a new approach to art, will be presented here this evening in the college chapel at 7 o'clock by the Art Department, under the general supervision of Mrs. Ruth Holl Hodges, Art Director. These students have attempted this new approach to the painting uts in that every one in the college has been invited into the art laboratory and campus studios to paint scenery. They have been told, 'we are all artists. let's paint.' Those who never painted before have copied nature with amazing results and have been so happy in the venture. The Show is ready and the public is invited to the opening program. Tonight's show will be the official opening of the art exhibition, which continues from tonight through May 31.
