Miss Delphina Morris from Lincoln, Nebraska, arrived in Juneau over the week-end and has begun her new duties as child welfare service worker with the Territorial Department of Public Welfare, director Russell Maynard announced today.
Miss Morris will go through a period of orientation, working out of the Territorial office for the next month or two and then will begin her regular assignment as itinerant worker throughout the First Division.
Previous to accepting the Territorial position, Miss Morris was with the Social Welfare Society, a private agency in Lincoln.
