Helen Beukers, American Legion candidate for Kodiak Queen this year, will be introduced to members of her sponsoring group this evening, at a dance to be given by the auxiliary.
Miss Beukers and her mother, Mrs. Jan Beukers, will be the guests of Legion commander Tiny Tesarik and Mrs. Tesarik.
The Auxiliary is holding the dance as its final fund-raising affair to provide money to send a delegate to the territorial convention next month at Sitka.
Previous baked foods sales have also augmented the fund.
Mrs. Jeanette Baily will be the delegate.
Mrs. Jean Foley, auxiliary president, is chairman of tonight's dance, and Irene Brooks is her assistant. Tickets may be purchased at the door. It will be held at the Legion Club.
