K. OF P. VISITATION.

Last evening the annual visitation of the grand chancellor of the K. of P. to the local lodge at Phenix was made. The visiting officers were accompanied by two companies of the uniform rank and were met at the Royal square at about 8:30 by the members of the local lodge, accompanied by the Natick band. A parade was then made through the main streets as far as Harris and back to the hall. At the hall two candidates were initiated and the regular meeting was held. Speeches were made by a number of the visiting knights and were well received by the company. Later in the evening refreshments were served and a social time lasted until the visitors were run to Phenix. The visitation was a success and the visiting officers expressed their complete satisfaction of the manner in which things were gone through with at the local lodge.
