FATAL ACCIDENT TO A YOUNG CAROLINIAN.

The Augusta train yesterday brought to the city the remains of a young man named Theo. Farmer, a native of Williamston, S. C., who was killed on the Western and Atlantic Railroad, on Saturday last, at a point near Chattanooga. He was employed as train hand, and was standing on the top of the car, when he was knocked off while passing through a bridge, and instantly killed. His body was forwarded by the Company to his home at Williamston, where his father, Elijah Farmer, resides, and is accompanied by Mr. Hamilton, a Carolinian also, residing in Atlanta, who was one of the few acquaintances of the deceased youth. He was a young man, only nineteen years of age.—Carolinian, 13th inst.
