Town Council Proceedings.

At a recent meeting of the town council, the salary of Policeman Hough was increased to $1 per day. The resignation of C. M. H. sigh Chief Engineer of the Fire Department, was accepted. On petition of the druggists, it was ordered that all drugstores in the town be closed on Sundays except from 12 to 1 A.M. and 4:30 to 6 and 8:30 to 9:30 P.M. unless to fill prescriptions. Liberty street, from East street to the East's run, is to be paved. The hog law is to stand their hogships to run at large until 15th of September, then confined until the 1st of June unless sooner disposed of. Cows were under consideration but no "bill" issued against them.
