Full Text

PACKET FOR LIBERIA.

The Board of Managers of the Maryland Colonization Society have resolved, it is said, to purchase a vessel of 200 tons to ply regularly between Baltimore and Liberia. She is to be fitted expressly for carrying out passengers and freight to the colonies.

How much cheaper it would be, and above all how much more benevolent, to annihilate the fiendish spirit of caste, which renders the presence of the colored people disagreeable. Professing Christians planning to get rid of those they love! What a mockery!
