Bristol, Oct. 21. Last Thursday Se'nnight, the noted Highwayman, who rides a grey Gelding, robb'd several Coaches between Newbury and Marlborough, going to Bath; there were several of the Prince of Wales's Domesticks; Dr. Desaguliers was in one of the Coaches, and his Footman having an Air-Gun of a curious Invention, which makes eleven Discharges, the Rogue was kept off that Coach, by being wounded by it, tho' not without making several Returns from his Pistols; and wearing Vollies of Oaths, he rode off.
