DEAD AT THERMOPOLIS
THERMOPOLIS, Wyo., June 28. -While drinking at the white sulphur spring here several days ago, Harvey P. Vernon, veteran from the famous Princess Pat regiment and a member of the Great War Veterans association in Canada, fell dead. He had previously been sent here by the Canadian government as a last resort to relieve his misery caused by his having been severely gassed in the war.
Harvey Vernon was among the 21 men who came out of action in France after service with 378 men in the Princess Pats. The Walter Haynes post of the American Legion here conducted the burial, giving the veteran a military funeral as requested by the Canadian war department.
