FROM ST. DOMINGO.

Captain Aderton, of the brig Saratoga, in 13 days from St. Domingo, informs us that the two chieftains, Petion and Christophe, were in a state of peace, although they had not entered into any written articles to that effect. Captain Aderton confirms the account of the arrival of a Spanish squadron in the West-Indies, with 7000 troops on board, and adds that it was said when they took possession of Margarita they put to death men, women and children indiscriminately. The ship of the line belonging to the squadron had blown up, and all on board at the time (1200 souls) perished.- Carthagena had been bombarded thirty days, and the cause of the patriots was despaired of in that quarter.
