Congress.—Horace Greeley of the N. Y. Tribune is elected to fill a vacancy in the present Congress. Horace has a great many impracticable isms in his head, but still he is the right sort of a man for the place: and most heartily do we wish his term extended beyond the fourth of March next.—He has written with a bold hand against a number of the most crying of our Congressional abuses; among others, the system of robbing the public in the way of mileage, drawing pay during absence, &c. When he gets in Washington he will undoubtedly go in for reform if an opportunity offers.
