Extract of a Letter from New Providence, March 17.

On the 14th inst. Capt. Johnson, in the Privateer Schooner New Experiment, sent in a small Prize Sloop, laden with dry Goods, Coffee and Indigo. The 15th Capt. Kemp, in the Privateer Brig Speedwell, sent in a Brig belonging to New-York, and which was pretended to be a Prize of Capt. Koffler's. Yesterday Capt. Tucker, in the Privateer Snow General Shirley, arrived with a large Ship of 8 9 Pounders, and 28 Men (pretended to be Danish) laden with Sugar and Coffee, and some Indigo. Capt. Tucker has also taken a Snow, but he is not yet arrived. Several Spanish Vessels and their Cargoes, sent in here as Prizes, have been lately acquitted.----Our Assembly have lately voted an Addition of 100 l. to the Governor's Salary; and made Provision for an Agent in Great Britain.
