NEW-YORK, June 16.
It has long been the wish that some able person, would expose the absurdity of certain men in the United States, who maintain the principle that individuals may at pleasure expatriate themselves, and thus evade the laws of the country, and take arms against nations with which we are at peace—We are happy to find this work accomplished in a most excellent charge of Judge Iredell to the grand jury of Columbia county in South-Carolina. The charge is lengthy, but we have no doubt our readers will give it due attention, and be both amused and instructed by the principles it contains.
