Hearings as a basis to determine the heirs of deceased Indians will be conducted at the Blackfeet Agency office beginning June 25, with Merle C. Martin, representing the Department of the Interior, in charge.
The calendar has been arranged as to provide the examining of an average of three cases each day, the cases numbering 60.
In each case heirs are instructed to have two disinterested persons to serve as witnesses.
Following is the calendar:
June 25—Mary Higgins, Antoine Monroe and Georgana Owens Bliss.
June 26—Carl S. Schildt, Donald Hagerty and Mary Dunbar Kalich.
June 27—Night Hawk Face Iron Eater, Catherine Gladys Anderson and Isabelle Bull Calf.
June 28—Mudhead, Isaac Wippert and George Hunaberger.
June 29—John W. Kennedy, Evelyn Gilman Hill and Greeley Billedeaux.
June 30—Louise Oscar Lazy Boy, Joseph Butterfly and Aloysius Many Tailfeathers.
July 2—Mary Middlerider, Jennie Schmidt Kerr, Alice Tailfeathers Dayrider and Margaret Calf Robe.
July 3—George Schmidt, William Edwards, Walter Mountain Chief and Good Leader Sure Chief.
July 5—Dora H. McKelvey, Henry Stephenson, Jesse Walters and Susan Vielle.
