Thirtieth anniversary for Catholic chaplain

Last Monday, September 15, was the thirtieth anniversary of the first Mass celebrated here by Father Francis Miller.

Thirty years have not made chaplain Miller bored with his work. Interviewed by the MIRROR last Sat., he said he really didn't know what had happened to all that time.

Chaplain Miller is now resuming all of the normal functions of his ministry in the prison which have been partly taken over by Father Frank Fee of Stillwater while Father Miller recuperated from a seriously injured ankle.

He did admit, however, that it may be necessary to give up some of his tasks, which have become "too cockeyed many." He is pastor of two outside parishes, as well as of MSP Catholics.
