Richmond, Fredericksburg and Potomac Railway.—At a meeting of the Subscribers to the Stock of the Richmond, Fredericksburg and Potomac Railway, convened pursuant to previous notice at the City of Richmond, on Friday, the 20th day of June, 1834, the following persons were elected President and Directors, to continue in office until the next Annual Meeting, to wit;

President—John A. Lancaster.

Directors—Nicholas Mills, Conway Robinson, James Bosher, Richard B. Haxall, and Joseph M. Sheppard.

And at a Meeting of the President and Directors of the Company, held on Saturday, the 21st day of June, 1834,

William P. Sheppard was appointed Treasurer and Clerk; and

Moncure Robinson was appointed Chief Engineer.

A resolution was adopted, requesting Mr. Robinson to organize his party of Assistants, and to have the location of the Rail Road commenced as early as practicable.—[Comp.
