Miss Berrier, of Davidson, Ran Away With an Indiana Man.

According to the Staunton, Va., News of Wednesday, Sheriff Watts of that city, on the day before arrested Miss Allie Berrier, of Lexington, N.C., as she was leaving the train, having been so instructed by the authorities of Basic City.

The News says: "She had become infatuated with a gentleman of Indiana and ran away from her home with him. Her parents telegraphed to Danville, Va., to apprehend the couple, but they escaped from that place and went to Charlottesville. There the man bought a ticket to this place and checked her baggage. She got off the train, however, at Waynesboro and there spent the night. She came to Staunton and according to Mr. Patterson's message was apprehended by Sheriff Watts yesterday. She was placed at the Highland house and a telegram was sent to her parents for instructions.

She is a country girl."
