PIONEERS ELECT OFFICERS

The Aberdeen Pioneer Association, at their meeting last night, elected the following officers: President Rev. Chas. McDermoth; vice president, Mrs. J. M. Walker; secretary, Mrs. William Irvine; treasurer, Mrs. John G. Lewis; historian, Mrs. A. D. Wood; chaplain, Rev. Chas. McDermoth. The old board of trustees were elected unanimously.

It was decided to invite D. W. Fleet, the pioneer abstracter, of Montesano, to attend the annual banquet Thursday night. Mr. Fleet, as a civil engineer, platted the original townsite of Aberdeen in 1884 for Samuel Benn, and will tell of the conditions here as he saw them at that time.
