CORNER LOT AGGREGATIONS
HAVE BUSY SEASON AHEAD

Since the opening of the baseball season in the copper country, the corner-lot players have been exceptionally busy and several teams have been organized for every vacant space within the township limits. Already several games have been played and others are being arranged, so it appears that a very busy season is ahead of the future big leaguers of Calumet.

Rockland Street Cubs.
The Rockland Street cubs have organized for the season and issue a challenge to meet any club whose players are less than 16 years old. The following is the line-up of the team: Catcher, Fred Hicks; pitcher, Steve Frankowitek; first, Fred Grant; second, John Cullis; third, short stop, Henry Frankguist; center field, Joe Frankowick; left field, Walter Phillips; right field, Russell Bray, and Mascot, Johnny Frankowick.

The Pine Streets.
The Pine streets won a game from the Caledonia Sluggers yesterday afternoon by the score of 16 to 3. The Pine Streets challenge any team under twelve years of age. The following is the line-up of the team: Catcher, Russell Bartle; pitcher, Clarence Herstrom; first, Irving Peterson; second, Russell Gaffney; third, Lucas Stefanic; short stop, Kelmar Karvala; center field, Willie Karvala; left field, Frank Stefanic, and right field, Steve Verbanac.

West Pine Streets.
The West Pine Streets have organized and are looking for games with teams between 12 and 15 years of age. In a game yesterday the West Pines defeated the Yellow Jackets by the score of 24 to 6. The line up of the West Pines is: Catcher, Heberg; pitcher, Wittikka; first, Peterson; second, Lehti; third, Rarjala; short, Bartle; right field, Stopula; center field, Johnson; left field, Masando.

Caledonia Cubs.
The Caledonia Cubs have arranged to play the Pine streets, which aggregation defeated the Caledonia Sluggers yesterday. Wednesday afternoon. The West Pine street team will play the Caledonia Tigers on May 1, and arrangements have been made for games between the Caledonia Sluggers and the Blue Jacket and Tamarack teams. The Caledonia Cubs are anxious to meet the Yellow Jackets, Seventh Streets, Newtowns, Lauriums or Red Jacket shaft team.
