WILLIAM H. SEARS FILES FOR SHERIFF
Rounding out twenty eight years of public service, as a peace officer, County Detective William H. Sears, who recently left the Sheriff's office to run for the Republican nomination of Sheriff, filed Tuesday.
"I am asking the support of the residents and taxpayers of King County, because I consider this one of the most important offices to be filled at the coming election said Mr. Sears.
"I am not going to sell out to obtain this office, nor am I promising jobs. I am pledging the people of King County if elected, they will have a clean and efficient administration, devoted to the work of running to earth racketeers, gangsters, white slavers and other criminals and bringing them to justice.
The best way to keep a county free from crime is to elect a man whom criminals fear. I know the criminal type. I have been successful in catching them."
Mr. Sears is married and lives at 3411 Hunter Blvd. He is a member of various civic and fraternal organizations.
