Where once the Mormon Temple stood near Nauvoo there is now a "community of Communists," under the direction of Cabet. On the 1st of January last, numbered 340 built of the refuse brick of the old Mormon Temple. It is expected that M. Cabet, now in France, and for a short time in prison for a political offense with us; and under our institutions:) will bring great accessions to their numbers in a few months. M. Cabet is greatly beloved and is highly respected wherever he is known.
