CALIFORNIA LEGISLATURE.
SACRAMENTO, Feb. 7th.
Senate stands adjourned till Wednesday.
Assembly.—A message was received from the Governor approving Act to extend the time for the collection of taxes in the City and County of San Francisco.
Bills were introduced as follows: Mr. Sloss an act to compel a better observance of the Sabbath. Ordered printed.
Mr. Aud, act amendatory to the act regulating proceedings in civil cases.
Mr. Lowe, act appropriating $10,000 for copying done for the Legislature. Passed.
Mr. Caldwell, act regulating fees of officers in Nevada county.
Assembly Bill 78. changing the time for holding the County Court of Marin county, was passed.
Nothing else of importance. Thus far during the session very little work has been done by the Assembly.
