M'CLELLAN AND UNION.
AIR—"Battle cry of Freedom."
McClellan is our candidate, for President you know,
Then shout for little Mac and Union;
To defeat the Lincoln minions, and deal to them a blow.
Shouting for little Mac and Union.
CHORUS—McClellan forever! hurrah boys, hurrah!
Down with Abe Lincoln, up with the star,
We'll rally round McClellan, boys,
Rally once again, shouting for little Mac and Union.
We'll rally round McClellan, boys, we'll rally once again,
Shouting for little Mac and Union;
We will rally from the hillside, we'll gather from the plain
Shouting for little Mac and Union.
CHORUS—
We'll rally round McClellan, boys, we'll do our very best,
Shouting for little Mac and Union,
We'll rally from the East, and we'll rally from the West,
Shouting for little Mac and Union.
CHORUS—
Our brave old Stars and Stripes, they are trailing in the dust,
Shouting for little Mac and Union,
To save this severed Union, and save it we must,
Shouting for little Mac and Union.
CHORUS—
See! the Goddess of Liberty, with hot tears in her eyes,
Shouting for little Mac and Union,
To save this severed Union, to save it or it dies;
Shouting for little Mac and Union.
CHORUS—
We will cause the Lincoln minions, and the rebel hordes
Shouting for little Mac and Union,
To join their hands in unison, and lay aside the sword,
Shouting for little Mac and Union.
CHORUS—
M'CLELLAN AND UNION.
