MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.—Pictured above are the seven bishops of the Central Jurisdiction of the Methodist Church as they appeared at the reception for the bishops and delegates to the General Conference of the Methodist Church on the eve of the opening of the quadrennial confab on Tuesday evening at the Leamington Hotel.

Left to right they are: Mrs. Willis J. King of New Orleans, La., and Monrovia, Liberia, Africa; Mrs. Matthew W. Clair, Jr., of St. Louis; Mrs. Robert E. Jones of Waveland, Miss.; Mrs. Alexander P. Shaw, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Edgar A. Love, Baltimore, Md.; Mrs. Edward W. Kelly, Sr., of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. John W. E. Bowen of Atlanta, Ga.
