Full Text

The Massachusetts Gazette of Thursday, was bro't to Town last Saturday, and is a pretty exact Copy of Boston Monday's Papers, as usual, containing very little else, except 15 Bankrupt-Advertisements, and a Paragraph of 14 Lines reprimanding the Publishers of the New-Hampshire Papers for not mentioning the Arrival of a Vessel from Bristol, who bro't no News later than we had before--

We think it needless to fill our Paper, with telling People there is no News, or with trifling Articles, as theirs commonly is, That my Lord such-a-one din'd at such a Place, and my Lady such-a-one drank Tea at such a Place, or such a Duke it is reported, will shortly take a Tour East, West, North or South. &c. &c. which are so insignificant, especially to us in these Parts, that we choose to overlook them, and insert others of more Importance to the Public--

The Thursday's Paper is not only a Copy of the Boston Monday's Papers, but is generally ready composed to their Hands, so that they only have the Trouble of altering the Date from Monday to Thursday-- Those who find so much Fault with others, seldom correct what is amiss at Home.
