The City of Nogales will pay the same rate as it did last year for Diesel oil. When bids were opened Monday night at the meeting of the mayor and board of aldermen it was found that the Richfield Oil Corporation was the lowest bidder. Their bid was 5.63 cents per gallon, the same rate the city paid the past year. Other bidders were as follows: Standard Oil Company, 7.13: Shell Oil Company. 7.25; and General Petroleum, 7.25. Upon motion of Alderman Thomas L. Hall. which was carried, the Richfield bid was accepted. The mayor and aldermen Monday night sold city-owned property to the following: Margaret Keller, Lillian Edmonson, Harold Stiles, H. H. Felstead, W. F. Maner, Edith Ward, and Anna Verduso.
