MASSACHUSETTS LEGISLATURE

In House of Representatives, June 11.

The petition of JOHN LOWELL, Esq. in behalf of the Committee of Arrangements, for the CELEBRATION of the DELIVERANCE of the CHRISTIAN WORLD from MILITARY DESPOTISM. was read and committed to Messrs. Knapp of Newburyport—Whitman of Pembroke—and Phelps of Belchertown.

Ordered on the petition of J. LOWELL, Esq. authorising the committee of arrangements to illuminate the front of the State House on the evening of the FESTIVAL was sent up for concurrence.

In Senate, Saturday, June 11.

The Senate concurred in the petition of J. Lowell.
