CHICAGO - A will-o'-the-wisp search is under way in Alaska for descendants or other next-of-kin of the late Edward Adolph Stark who are wanted to claim his $50,000 estate.

This became known here when Walter C. Cox, probate genealogist, 208 S. LaSalle, Chicago, who specializes in tracing missing relatives to settle estates, took over the hunt with but a few vague clues.

Search is being centered in Alaska because it is reported that Stark spent a number of years in the Territory, beginning in the 1900's, and during that time married a woman named Eva Jensen, reportedly in Southeastern Alaska around Hyder. Stark was a stationary engineer and presumably was engaged in this, or similar trade.

His widow, under certain circumstances, or his children, if any or if living, would have first claim to the estate with brothers and sisters, or nieces and nephews next in line.
