From the MEDITERRANEAN.

The Eliza, arrived at Philadelphia confirms the account of the capture of Le Genereux, of 80 guns, and 1300 men, off Malta, having an immense quantity of provision on board ; and that she arrived at Minorca the 12th March.

Lord Nelson was in a frigate bound down the Streights April 6th. The Thalia frigate was in company with the Leviathan, Ad. Duckworth, when they captured the two Spanish frigates and seven sail of merchantmen bound to Vera Cruz. The Swiftsure Capt. Hallowell, had a prize in company April 11, worth 35000l sterling.
