The Teachers' Association.

The Executive Committee have about completed all the arrangements necessary for the success of the third annual meeting of the State Teachers' Association at Rehoboth on August 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26th.

The rates at the Bright House will be $1 a day for one day or a week, beginning on Friday, the 19th day of August, if teachers wish to go down that early. The best of accommodations will be offered and, as all who attended last year will testify, Mr. Burton gave entire satisfaction, notwithstanding his house was filled to overflowing. Only those who hold certificates of membership are entitled to reduced rates, however.

Mr. Brown, general passenger agent for the J. & B. and B. & F. railroads, will sell round trip tickets to any one wishing to attend the meeting at the following rates: All points on the Breakwater & Frankford road, 75 cents; on the J. & B. from Harrington, Houston, Milford, $1.00; Lincoln, 90 cts.; Ellendale, 75 cts.; Redden and Georgetown, 60 cts.; Harbeson and Cool Spring, 50 cts.; Nassau, 40 cts.; Lewes, 30 cts. Any below Frankford on the Worcester road will be given special rates by applying to Mr. Brown direct.

Tickets on the Delaware road will be sold by agents on presentation of orders from George A. Dadmun Esq. These orders may be procured at Rev. J. M. Williams, Wilmington, Del., or Prof. J. H. Groves, Smyrna Del., by any member of the Association, teacher or friend of education, but any one writing for several should give the names of the applicants as a return of the orders is made to the railroad authorities. The following rates are very low; thus putting it in the power of nearly all teachers to attend the meeting. The rates are: Newark, $2.50; Stanton Newport, Claymont $2.25; Wilmington New Castle, $2.00; Kirkwood, $1.85 Mt Pleasant $1.80; Middletown, Townsend Blackbird, Green Spring, Clayton, Smyrna Seaford, Laurel, Delmar, $1.75 Felton and Farmington, $1.65. The orders may be presented from August 18th to 27th and are good for 30 days. No more favorable rates could be asked and it is expected that the attendance will be very large and the interest correspondingly great.

Any one interested in education, teacher, trustee, parent, or friend, is eligible to membership in the State Teachers' Association. The fee is only one dollar to entitle to a certificate of membership which gives all the privileges of reduced rates, etc.

Write to Rev. J. M. Williams, Wilmington, or Prof. Groves, Smyrna, for an order, giving your name, which will be taken as a pledge that you wish to unite with the Association. This is necessary in order that the committee may keep their faith with the railroad, and also that the Association may not be overrun by those who have no interest in the meeting except to take advantage of the low rates.
